Wedding November 17, 2006 Green Hills Visit Nov. 22, 2006

 

While we were in New York visiting our relatives, we were told that Gabriel and Aimy would be getting married in November, 2006. So we knew we would meet again before we get back to Ireland in 2008. And soon the day came. Below are some of the pictures of the wedding. At the wedding my aunt Sis got to meet Kathleen for the first time. I can't imagine what was going through my aunt's mind as she finally met Kathleen. I know I thought about it for weeks before the wedding, for this is what it was all about from the beginning for this day and for the continuance of our family both here and in Ireland and I knew this was going to be a big moment for both of them Kathleen and Ciss.

and obviously it was exciting for me too. I had talked to Kathleen several times, but never got to meet her. I had already met Philomena so I knew her. We were all so happy to see each other it was great. As Philomena and I are talking she tells me that there was someone in the church who wanted to meet me. It was Gerry McCorty. Gerry was the guy in the store who was Philomena's cousin of all things and he was the one who directed us to Patty's house. Believe me that was the last person I thought I was going to meet. I will always as long as I live remember that day, it was simply a dream come true that day, that is all I can say, it was a dream come true. Since that time Gerry has given up the store and is back doing what he really likes to do and that is farming, and he seemed very happy about it.
