I have not updated this site since our trip to Ireland in July of 2005. Today as I sit here June of 2008 I can now say that the circle has been completed. From the beginning of all this in 2000 to our trip in 2005 and now this past November when my aunt and uncle who I really did most of this for got to meet their cousins from Ireland for the first time. The circle is complete. In November Patty Boyle my second cousin's son Gabriel was married outside New York City and Deb and I along with my uncle Jim and aunt Sis were there and that is where my aunt met her cousin Kathleen for the first time. Later in the week Kathleen and Gabriel came to Green Hills to visit us at our house and then we went to visit my uncle Jerry and then he too got to meet Kathleen. After all those many years, all the miles, all the work and all the glory this finally happened and I thank the Dear Lord and my patron saint St. Patrick for this wonderful as I see it miracle and I will always feel that way, it was a miracle. I have more pictures of the wedding and my cousins from Ireland meeting their cousins from America. Although I have no pictures of my trip back to Ireland last year we got to spend 3 whole days with Patty and Kathleen and some very good friends we met there. When I get time I will be adding more to that. Please bear with me, but in short it was a wonderful trip not as dramatic as 2005, but in some respects just as exciting as we got to spend a couple days with a real Irish family and got to learn how they feel and think about we Americans and you know what they aren't much different than us, just a little bit.
